TransPosition engaged by the Department of Transport and Main Roads for modelling and data analysis for the Toowoomba Western Arterials Corridor Planning Study

TransPosition has been engaged by the Department of Transport and Main Roads (TMR) to undertake modelling and data analysis for the Toowoomba Western Arterials Corridor Planning Study.

TransPosition engaged by the Department of Transport and Main Roads for further demand analysis for the TSRC

TranPosition was involved in the 2012 Business Case for the Toowoomba Second Range Crossing (TSRC) where they undertook demand analysis for the bypass using their 4S model. TransPosition has been engaged by the Department of Transport and Main Roads (TMR) to undertake further demand analysis work to assist TMR in the development of policy recommendations available to maximise Heavy Vehicle (HV) usage of the TSRC.

TransPosition won the Excellence Award for best project for their work on Autonomous Vehicles at the AITPM National Conference 2016

TransPosition submitted the following document to the AITPM Excellence Awards Board for their work on Autonomous Vehicles. TransPosition won best project in the Transport and Land Use Modelling section and were also the overall prize winners out of all of the sections. The document addresses an innovative modelling technique which was developed by TransPosition and used to inform important policy issues with regards to the introduction of autonomous vehicles. The focus of much of the work was on transport modelling, but accessibility analysis was used to gain some insight into the likely land-use impacts of autonomous vehicles.

TransPosition's submission can be found at Sensitivity modelling of the introduction of autonomous vehicles

TransPosition presented two papers at this year's AITPM National Conference

TransPosition presented two papers at this year's AITPM National Conference. They won the Excellence Award for their work on Autonomous Vehicles which is based on the following paper they presented at the Conference. This paper builds on the work that TransPosition presented at last year's AITPM Conference and also this year's TRB ITM Conference.

Driving alone versus riding together - How shared autonomous vehicles can change the way we drive

The other paper they presented can be found at the link below which discusses how to manage models in the age of open data.
