Peter worked as the primary modeller on a number of projects for Queensland Transport, working mainly with the TRIPS modelling package. These included
- The Central City Distributor Study - modelling the demand for pedestrian travel within Brisbane's CBD to allow the testing of new technologies such as monorails.
- South Bank Traffic Study - tested various 2006 land use and road network options for the redevelopment of the Expo '88 site on Brisbane River's South Bank
- CBD Travel Demand Management - investigated measures for managing demand for travel to Brisbane's CBD, including road pricing measures
