This project was focused on providing low-level estimates of population and employment growth in the Logan region through to 2031. This was done using the utility based small area growth projections methodology developed by TransPosition. Peter led the team that refined and extended the model to make it more suitable for non-residential projections. This included the development of a new multi-modal model for the Logan region, along with its key external links (including Brisbane). It also involved the calibration of pricing models for a range of residential and non- residential land uses, so that the development propensity could be based on realistic financial modelling of the choices faced by property developers.
