Peter Davidson Consulting has developed a comprehensive transport modelling/GIS software package. The system was developed in C++ and incorporates a number of novel approaches to transportation modelling problems. Peter prepared a requirements specification and architectural design document, using Object Oriented Design Techniques (using the Unified Modelling Language – UML). He worked on the implementation of the system, including matrix manipulation, network creation, skimming and assignment, user-interface (in MFC), map projection, data serialization, GIS display and script parsing.
